COLOR THEORIES
The Internet has become a cacophony! Find some peace in tonal chords of color in Wada Sanz
ō's Dictionary of Color Combinations. Compiled during the turblent Shōwa era in 1933, harmony was, and is, a willful choice.
Wada has created a guide of which colors go together in pairs, trios, or quadruples. Dark Tyrian Navy balances with a Pale Lemon Yellow or a Raw Sienna, and Vinaceous Cinnamon meets a Lincoln Green in due parts.
A shrewd observer (or one with too much time on their hands) may notice Pale Lemon Yellow seems to pair with the most range of colors.
